Dr. Terri Ketover, Community Leader and Humanitarian Receives Star Dedication on the World-Famous Walk of the Stars in Palm Springs on November 2nd

Terri Ketover Receives Star on Walk of Fame

Dr. Terri Ketover, Community Leader and Humanitarian, will be honored with the 444th star on the City’s world-famous Walk of
the Stars Palm Springs on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021. Palm Springs Council Member, Geoff Kors will present Dr. Ketover with a proclamation acknowledging her contributions to the community.

The Star Dedication, organized by the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, is FREE and open to the public and will take place at 4:00 PM at 101 North Palm Canyon Road in Palm Springs.

Dr. Ketover has been praised for her tireless work on numerous Valley boards and
committees including the Annenberg Theater Council, the Barbara Sinatra Children’s
Center, DAP Health, The Palm Springs International Film Festival, “One Night Only”
benefit concert co-chair, and the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival “Angel Opening” chair.

Dr. Ketover’s numerous accolades and awards for her volunteer work and community activism have included:
the 2013 National Philanthropy Day Award’s “Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer of the Year,” the 2014 DAP
Health’s “100 Women Award,” the 2016 Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce’s “Athena Leadership Award,”
the 2016 AIDS Assistance Program’s “Gloria Greene Inspiration Award,” the Palm Springs Women in Film and
Television’s “Broken Glass Award,” and the 2020 DAP Health’s “Everyday Heroes Award.” In addition, she has
been recognized by the Florida House of Representatives and the White House as the founder of the
international “Do The Right Thing” program.

The star dedication will be at 4pm on Tuesday, November 2nd at the intersection of Tahquitz Canyon Drive
and North Palm Canyon Drive (on the plaza between Starbucks and the Rowan Hotel). Palm Springs Chamber
of Commerce Chief Executive Officer, Nona Watson, will welcome guests and introduce Dr. Tom Truhe, who
will act as emcee for the event. Guest speakers (all close friends and fellow board members of Dr. Ketover’s
many affiliated organizations) will be: former Senator Barbara Boxer, photographer and producer Michael
Childers, Tony-winning and Oscar and Grammy-nominated lyricist David Zippel, Chief Executive Officer and
President of DAP Health David Brinkman, talent manager, director and producer Garry Kief, and Palm Springs
City Councilman Geoff Kors.
