Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs to Host Annual Halloween Bash on October 26

The Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs (BGCPS) is gearing up for its most anticipated event of the year – the “Be A Hero For Kids” Halloween Bash – returning to the Hilton Palm Springs on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. This festive evening invites the community to don their best costumes, enjoy a lively celebration, and most importantly, raise funds that directly benefit Palm Springs youth.

The Halloween Bash has become the Club’s largest annual fundraiser, drawing nearly 400 guests for an unforgettable night filled with purpose and fun. Attendees will enjoy a vibrant cocktail reception featuring a hosted bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres stations, exciting live and silent auctions, a costume contest, and plenty of surprises along the way.

This year, the event also shines a spotlight on community heroes whose contributions inspire and uplift the Club’s mission. Dr. Tony and Silvia Signoret will be honored with the Inspiration Award, recognizing their dedication and generosity in shaping brighter futures for local youth. In addition, the organization Do The Right Thing will be presented with the Champion for Youth Award, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to young people in Palm Springs.

Generous community support makes this annual fundraiser possible. The Boys & Girls Club extends special thanks to its premier sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor Hilton Palm Springs; Emerald Sponsor Palm Springs Pathfinders; Diamond Sponsors Geoff Kors & James Williamson and Costo Construction; and Platinum Sponsors Flannery Exchange, Rick & Leanne Post, Chino Cienega Foundation, David Lee, Weingarten & Hough and Las Casuelas Terraza. Sponsorship opportunities remain available and are vital to ensuring the Club can continue providing transformative programming.

This year’s fundraiser carries even greater urgency. President Trump’s proposed FY 2026 budget eliminates a youth mentoring grant – the only federal funding source dedicated to afterschool and summer programs. Cuts of this magnitude could force hundreds of Boys & Girls Clubs to close, threatening access to safe spaces and life-changing programs for thousands of children.

Despite these challenges, the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs continues to serve as a beacon of opportunity for local children and teens. Each day, the Club provides safe spaces where young people build leadership skills, learn financial literacy, develop academic success, explore career pathways, and adopt healthy habits that set the stage for lifelong achievement. From teaching the importance of saving and investing to guiding youth on digital safety, responsible decision-making, and wellness practices, the Club empowers its members to realize their full potential.

As the organization relies heavily on donations and community support, the “Be A Hero for Kids” Halloween Bash is critical to sustaining these life-changing programs. Every sponsorship, ticket, and donation helps BGCPS continue building a foundation of character, confidence, and resilience for Palm Springs youth.
