The Coachella Valley Symphony invites the community to an unforgettable evening of music, talent, and celebration at its “Spring Fling” concert on Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 PM at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheatre. This vibrant, open-air event is FREE to attend, with complimentary valet parking, making it one of the most accessible and exciting cultural experiences of the season.
The highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of the first movement of Symphony No. 1 by Coachella Valley Symphony Music Director and Conductor John Mario—a milestone moment for the composer and the organization.
The concert blends classical masterworks with Broadway favorites spotlighting some of the desert’s most promising young artists, Juan Aaron Rubio, Josh Witte, Richard Caldera and Elizabeth Archuleta Rivera! These talented artists will be the featured performers with the Coachella Valley Symphony in a dynamic program filled with classical works and favorites from stage and screen, conducted by John Mario. The City of Rancho Mirage and our valued supporters have given generously to provide FREE tickets to the community.
“I’m incredibly honored that the Coachella Valley Symphony will premiere the first movement of my Symphony No. 1,” said Mario. “This work has been a true labor of love developing this score which in its entirety is in four movements. Crafting a symphony requires time, patience, and a deep understanding of the emotional journey you want to take your audience on.”
