Dear Friends and Donors of the Hanson House Foundation,
As we approach our 20th year of service, we are proud of the positive impact we have made on the lives of patients and their loved ones during times of need. Over the past two decades, we have averaged over 4,100 room nights and approximately 400 individual family members served annually. Our commitment to providing a home away from home for families with loved ones receiving medical treatment has remained unwavering over the years. We understand the emotional and financial stress associated with medical crises and we are honored to offer a supportive environment that allows families to focus on what’s important – their loved one’s recovery.
As we reflect on the past 20 years, we remain committed to our mission. We will continue to strive to create a comforting and supportive environment for families in need, providing them with the resources, care, and compassion they deserve. With the continued support of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers, and the resilience of the families we serve, we are confident in our ability to make a positive impact on our community and beyond.
With the proceeds raised from our 2022 Casablanca event, we were able to purchase and install two new stackable washer and dryer units, which will provide our families with complimentary access to laundry facilities during their stay. We also replaced two AC units and made other necessary improvements to the property.
Despite our recent progress, there is still work to be done. 22 of our 25 units require replacement or repairs, and we are planning a complete room refresh, including a full renovation of the guest restrooms. With the continued support of our donors and volunteers, we are confident that we can continue to positively impact the lives of Hanson House families.
