Membership at Cathedral City Senior Center – A Passport that Opens Doors to New Experiences

Membership at Cathedral City Senior Center isn’t just a card — it’s a passport. A passport opens doors to new experiences, keeps you connected, and helps you stay active in every part of life.

That’s exactly what CCSC membership does. It builds friendships, sparks curiosity, keeps minds sharp and bodies moving, and creates a true sense of belonging. From fitness and dance classes to painting, guitar, social gatherings, and our weekly Food Bank — this is where community happens.

Your support makes that possible.

Here’s how your gift can make an immediate impact:

  • $25 – Provides a bag of groceries for one senior at our weekly Food Bank.

  • $100 – Sponsors a membership for four seniors to participate in isolation-ending programs and activities for an entire year.

  • $312 – Provides two fitness classes per week for one senior to stay active and healthy for an entire year.

  • $1,000 – Helps sustain our bilingual navigation, outreach, and wrap-around support for the highest-need seniors in our Mid-Valley communities.

And right now, every gift is matched dollar-for-dollar by Jeff McDonald and The Roost Foundation, up to $5,000. Your $25 becomes $50. Your $100 becomes $200. Double the impact. Double the connection.

Give today, and anytime through Coachella Valley Giving Day on March 3rd, because right now our community is carrying extra fear and uncertainty.

Urgent! Families are anxious, rules and resources keep shifting, and too many seniors are feeling the squeeze all at once: food costs, healthcare confusion, transportation gaps, and isolation. And with heightened ICE activity, many of our Hispanic seniors and families are pulling back, struggling quietly, and needing a trusted place more than ever.

Cathedral City doesn’t have a big safety net, so we’re filling gaps we’ve never had to fill before. Because your donation is matched, this is the moment to ensure seniors can still find food, connection, and bilingual support without feeling alone.

Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more connected Mid-Valley.

Warm regards,
