On Saturday, May 17, an act of terrorism in our Palm Springs community caused damage to DAP Health’s Palm Springs Family Health Clinic, located at 1100 North Palm Canyon Drive. This senseless act shattered windows and disrupted a safe space where healing happens every day. The Palm Springs Police Department has designated our building as part of the crime scene, restricting entry until the evidence team completes its investigation. Our Facilities team will access the building to ensure it is structurally sound before welcoming our OB-GYN patients and staff back into the clinic. Out of an abundance of caution, the clinic will remain closed as we complete a full safety evaluation. We will be reaching out to patients to reschedule affected appointments. We stand in solidarity with the nearby IVF clinic that was targeted. These attacks are not just assaults on buildings — they are attempts to instill fear and undermine our shared commitment to health, dignity, and bodily autonomy. At DAP Health, we believe health care is hope, and that an attack on hope will never succeed. Our resolve to provide compassionate, inclusive care to all remains unshaken. In gratitude and partnership, |
