I am excited to announce that I will again be participating in the Angel View New Year Challenge presented by the Piranha Masters Swim Team.
This event began 11 years ago as a personal challenge…to swim 100 yards, 100 times. When I asked my fellow Piranha Swim Team members to join me, many thought the challenge was quite ambitious. We decided to go for it! The challenge has now become an annual tradition, to “ring in the new year” on a positive note and to support children with disabilities.
With 11 additional years of age on me… I’m going stronger than ever (that’s what I tell myself)! I plan to swim 10K on December 31, 2022, and bike 100K on January 1, 2023. The challenge is daunting, but I know I can do it. I will do it not only for myself, but also for Angel View, A Nonprofit Serving Children and Adults with Disabilities.

is event has raised over $310,000 in 10 years. I am humbled by all of the love and support you have shown to me and to the event.
All funds raised this year will again support Angel View’s Outreach Program. This program assists over 700 families in the Coachella Valley with disabled children and exists solely because of grants and donations from generous people like you!
