The Peacemaker Corps and their primary initiative, PSGFF – is an NGO affiliated with the United Nations – They work closely with the UN and are supported by UN agencies, and have a long relationship with them.

Carole Krechman will be talking about all kids today who are living through extreme circumstances. The mental health of youth is a very important topic and PSGFF recognizes that it has a way to work with and help global youth.

Krechman is passionate about giving a voice to those who need it most and believes that film is one of the most powerful mediums for storytelling and communication. This event will serve as an opportunity for PSGFF to raise awareness and funds for the festival, where the finalists will be announced at the United Nations in New York in December 2022.

The Peacemaker Corps is ensuring that the voices and stories of both World Youth and also Ukrainian youth made homeless by war are heard. It’s critical for these youngsters, who are now going through such terror, to be able to express their feelings, to have someone listen to them, and to feel some control over their situation.

The Peacemakers Corps Annual Peace in the Streets Global Film Festival (PSGFF) will allow all youth to interact with people all over the world. They provide them with a platform from which they may express themselves and advocate for their own interests.

Today, more than ever, young people, especially from Ukraine need to be able to express their emotions, aspirations, and futures in short films. PSGFF is a one-of-a-kind venue for the world to see this.

As an NGO partner with the UN, we are allowed to broadcast our PSGFF award ceremony live worldwide on UN WebTV and continue to offer on-demand viewing.

Today, Peacemaker Corps must be able to assure that the voices, stories, and films of today’s youth who are experiencing displacement and conflict are shared and heard. PCA immediately needs money to make this a reality.
