The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians recently
presented $175,000 to five charities, each receiving $35,000,
from the proceeds of its 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament,
held in December, 2018.
The tournament benefited: Animal Samaritans, Make a
Wish Foundation, Martha’s Village & Kitchen, Neuro
Vitality and Haskell University Foundation.
Throughout the past nine years, the tribe has provided
$1.3 million in donations directly resulting from the its Annual
Charity Golf Tournament. In addition, the tribe donates to
many community organizations and non-profits throughout the
Coachella Valley throughout the year.
