The Artists Council is pleased to announce its permanent gift shop (The AC Store), located at the Artists Council at the Galen, 72-567 Hwy 111, Palm Desert, California 92260. This specialty boutique store, opening September 14, 2023, will offer high-quality, unique, handmade items created by member artists.
Among the gift items that visitors can purchase:
. Note cards, tags, journals, book art and other items made of paper
. Prints and small works on paper, canvas sheets, etc.
. Books and publications written and/or illustrated by member artists
. Décor, including pottery, sculpture, tableware, glass, metal and wood objects, Jewelry and wearable art.
The AC Store hours will be Wednesdays through Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. An opening reception to launch The Store will be held on Friday, September 15, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.
The Artists Council is now in its fifth year as an independent organization recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit, promoting the art and artists of the Coachella Valley and beyond through its mission: “Elevating artists through exhibitions, professional development, and community engagement”.
