As founder of Southern California’s Auction Event Solutions, Eileen Hayden has spent nearly three decades advising non-profits how to stage a successful event and maximize their revenue.
She got her start at UCLA managing an annual giving campaign and later became program director for UC Irvine’s Alumni Association, where she produced major fundraising events.
After working as a consultant for Auction Software, it wasn’t long before her mission dawned clear. “It became much more about supporting the client in the way they needed to be supported,” says Hayden, a certified fundraising executive. “They needed help with the computers, network connections and coordination. Instead of just showing up the night of the event, I was helping strategize, creating a timeline and flow, and giving them ideas for fund fundraisers.”
“I realized that there were so many more opportunities to help harness the power of philanthropy and make a real difference in the community,” Hayden said. “I enjoy helping organizations that do so much for those in need.” Hayden consults with groups across the country on auctions, gala events and golf tournaments. Her client list includes the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and American Cancer Society.
