Application Deadline is July 1st, 2026
BIGHORN Golf Club Charities is now accepting grant applications from Coachella Valley nonprofits seeking funding for specific new projects or equipment that benefit the region’s most underserved individuals. The program is funded through the philanthropic support of BIGHORN Members. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Developed in 2014, BIGHORN Cares grants support a broad range of people and programs – including educational outreach, afterschool services, food relief, elderly aid, disability assistance, shelter relief, foster care, health screenings, and military support. To date, BIGHORN Cares has awarded more than $7 million through 706 grants to qualified nonprofits, backing meaningful projects that improve quality of life for those most in need.
Previous recipients include Big Hearts Little Hearts Desert Guild, Hidden Harvest, Read with Me, The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens and The Unforgettables Foundation.
“Through the funding from BIGHORN Cares, we’re able to have a safe gardening program,” said Scott Robinson, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City. “We’re able to pick up kids from school and be able to give them that pathway to find their gifts.”
“We are a community that believes in giving back,” said Joe Kirby, Chairman of BIGHORN Cares. “We are grateful that our Members are fully invested in supporting programs and services that mean so much to the people who live in the Coachella Valley.” Apply here before July 2, 2026.
