At Cake4Kids we bake and deliver birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bars, and brownies to foster children and at-risk youth — and all of the baking and decorating is done by you, the volunteers! We aim to raise their self-esteem with this seemingly simple gift on their special day. Cake4Kids supports as many at-risk youth as possible in the communities we serve, including homeless youth, victims of human trafficking and domestic violence, those in foster care, youth living below the poverty line, refugees, and unaccompanied immigrant minors. We are proud to bring our program to the Coachella Valley!
Partner Agencies:
We are looking for Partner Agencies who would like to bring this service to their Kids. We are very careful about protecting the privacy of the recipients. We check all of our volunteers against the national sex offender database and reserve the right to background check any of our volunteers. We have mandatory orientations that carefully explain our rules and guidelines, including the privacy of the child, and we only deliver to the caseworker or agency reception desk.

We are in the early phase of starting our chapter here in the Coachella Valley and would love the opportunity to partner with agencies who work with these groups of kids.
Volunteer Bakers:
In addition, we are always looking for volunteers who would like to provide cakes/treats to these kids. If you like to bake and decorate cakes, you would love to volunteer with Cake4Kids. We don’t require any time commitment — bake 1 cake or 10 cakes a year…it’s up to you. You choose which child’s request to sign up for, based on the theme, type of dessert, and delivery time and location. Then bake and decorate in your own kitchen and when the sweets are complete, you deliver them to the local social services agency that requested them.
It’s fun and rewarding and truly the “sweetest” volunteer opportunity you can participate in.
