Born in Tacoma, Washington in 1946, Howard Lincoln’s life has been marked by a series of unique experiences and spiritual transformations. He lost his father at a young age, and his mother raised him and his sister with love and determination.

Following his education at Charles Wright Academy, Howard embarked on a journey fueled by diverse aspirations. He sought a change of scenery, enrolling at Claremont Men’s College with the hope of encountering celebrities. After law school and a brief marriage, Howard explored various career paths, gaining valuable life lessons through his work at a bank, a television station, and a bustling Irish pub.
While working at the pub, a yearning for deeper meaning emerged. Drawn to ministry, Howard pursued theological studies at Fuller Seminary and later at Trinity Episcopal. Despite initial plans to become an Episcopal priest, he experienced a profound spiritual encounter that led him towards the Catholic faith.

Despite holding multiple degrees and facing the challenge of celibacy, Howard’s desire to serve the Catholic Church remained strong. He faced initial rejection from various dioceses, reflecting the unique circumstances of being a divorced seminarian. However, his perseverance paid off, and he was eventually accepted by the Diocese of San Bernardino, marking a significant milestone, resulting in the life changing impact he would have on thousands of lives.

For three decades, Howard devoted himself to the Church, leaving a lasting influence on communities in Riverside, San Bernardino, and the Coachella Valley. In 2021, after a long and fulfilling career, Howard stepped away from his service, leaving behind not just memories, but a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals.

Following his retirement, Howard found love and married Sandra, his true partner. Together, they reside in Indian Wells and actively contribute to the community through their work at Eisenhower Health.
