Dear Friend,
During our 30-year history, the Elton John AIDS Foundation has reached more than 100 million people with lifesaving HIV information and services and saved over five million lives. You’ve been an integral part of that movement, and I’m so grateful for your commitment to creating a world free from AIDS, for everyone.
This August, there’s an opportunity to join another movement that supports an important life and legacy process: estate planning. August is National Make-A-Will Month, and we’re sharing this free estate planning tool as an easy way to get started.
Estate planning is a powerful way to map out important long-term financial and healthcare decisions on your own terms and ensure you can leave the legacy you wish to. Renewed laws and policies threaten the progress we have made against HIV/AIDS and toward LGBTQ+ equality, so future planning to protect the loved ones and causes that we care about is more important than ever.
To make this process easy for you, we’ve partnered with FreeWill. It removes the stress of creating a plan and has helped more than 550,000 people — including more than 300 supporters of the Foundation — to complete their wills for free.
