Hanson House Foundation

My name is Ivonne Moreno, the new Executive Director at Hanson House Foundation. It is an honor to introduce myself to the loyal supporters of Hanson House, our “Home away from Home” for the families of hospitalized patients.

I began at Hanson House Foundation as Assistant Manager in January 2021. Since that time, I’ve had the opportunity to learn about the Hanson House operation by interacting daily with volunteers, hospital staff, vendors, and of course, Hanson House guests.  As Executive Director, I‘m looking forward to continuing this great work and building a solid foundation for Hanson House’s future.

Hanson House is a great fit for me! Prior to Hanson House, I worked in Hotel Management, Public Relations, and Event Management for two non-profits in the Greater Coachella Valley. I have an Associate’s degree in Business, a Certificate in Project Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management. The desert has always been my home. I was born and raised here, and I’m happy that I can give something back to the community I love.

I plan to work diligently to deliver on Hanson House’s mission and I’m committed to building a coalition of volunteers and donors so that our families can thrive during a most vulnerable time in their lives.
