100 percent of LifeStream Blood Bank’s donor– and customer–facing staff is fully vaccinated against COVID–19.

the next step in LifeStream’s ongoing commitment to ensure that staff and donor safety remains
our number one priority,” said Rick Axelrod, MD, LifeStream’s president, CEO and medical
director.
“Our local hospital partners can be assured that LifeStream personnel who deliver
urgently needed blood products are fully vaccinated; and blood donors can know that our caring
frontline staff who collect their life–saving gifts also made the decision to be vaccinated.”
In addition to the vaccination requirement for all donor– and customer–facing staff and
volunteers, LifeStream requires that face coverings be worn by all staff, volunteers and donors;
observes social distancing guidelines; and has enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols at
its eight donor centers and at daily mobile drives throughout Southern California.
