The Association of Fundraising Professionals CA, Desert Communities Chapter, Announces Nominations are Now Being Accepted for 2020 National Philanthropy Day® in the Desert
Now, more than ever, is the time to nominate those local exemplary philanthropists, businesses, and organizations who have given so generously of their time, talents, skills, and financial resources to make our Coachella Valley community a much better place for us all.
While we are all in the midst of navigating and responding to the continued unfolding of the impact of the COVID virus, it is in reflection of the true heart of resilience and perseverance that we announce the launch of this year’s NPD nomination process. At no other time have we witnessed the immeasurable kindheartedness, care, and generosity of our local community.
Therefore, it is in this true spirit of philanthropy, the love of humanity, we move forward in preparation for a day of celebrating the courageous efforts and achievements of these amazing pillars of our community.
Proudly presented by the Desert Communities Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a membership organization committed to advancing philanthropy, National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside to promote philanthropy and recognize individuals, organizations and businesses that inspire change through their significant impact on the lives of Coachella Valley residents.
Nomination forms are available online, please use the link provided on this announcement. Deadline to submit a nomination is 5:00pm on Monday, May 18, 2020. Award winners will be honored at the annual National Philanthropy Day in the Desert Luncheon on November 6, 2020, at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells.
