Sadly, we must cancel the Annual Ophelia Luncheon that was scheduled for April 23. We greatly regret having to make that decision but there is no choice, as it is mandated by the state and county and is truly the only responsible thing to do.
The Annual Ophelia Luncheon is our only fundraiser and its cancellation will have a significant financial impact on the Ophelia Project, which enhances the lives of over 600 girls every year. This is a difficult time right now for all of us but I’m greatly encouraged by the unexpected and overwhelming kindness of the human spirit… a few individuals have already made donations to Ophelia Project to enable us to move forward with our program in spite of these uncertain times. And, I am pleased to tell you we have already scheduled next year’s luncheon event:
