Palm Springs Animal Shelter is thrilled to announce we will reopen for normal business including walk-in adoptions beginning Monday, February 14th! We would like to thank the public for its patience and understanding during our modified operations due to the December/January COVID-19 surge.
The health and safety of our patrons, staff and volunteers is always a top priority at our shelter. We will continue to require face coverings for everyone inside the shelter, and a 6-foot social distancing policy remains in effect whenever possible. Distancing barriers will remain in place, and we will continue to provide sanitizing stations throughout the facility. We kindly ask anyone entering the shelter to cooperate with these measures so that we may remain fully open to provide our lifesaving services to as many people as possible.
Adoptions by appointment are available for the remainder of this weekend, and walk-ins are welcome during normal business hours beginning on Monday.
