In honor of Month of the Military Family, this year’s gala will spotlight the strength of the military family unit, who endure unique challenges including recurring relocations to unfamiliar places and long deployments without their loved one.

Bob Hope USO Desert Area provides USO services and programming to more than 35,000 current members of the military and their families annually through volunteer support at our USO Center at the Palm Springs International Airport, in the community and at 29 Palms MCAGCC Marine Base. ABOUT BOB HOPE USO Today’s USO continuously adapts to the needs of our men and women in uniform and their families, so they can focus on their very important mission. In Southern California, we impact over a quarter of a million service members annually through our eight USO locations. The USO is an independent 501c3 non-profit organization, providing morale and recreational services to members of the military since 1941.
