Discounted Summer Memberships Available
Beginning Friday, June 1, The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will begin its summer schedule and open an hour earlier for guests to enjoy all the wildlife, gardens and special attractions. Plus, discounted summer memberships are available.
From June 1 to September 30, The Living Desert will be open daily 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with last admission at 1 p.m. Summer memberships, also valid June 1 through September 30, entitle guests to four months of free admission for $25/individuals, $40/couples, $75/family which includes two adults and four children.
Summer hours and memberships offer a great opportunity for visitors to take advantage of the extra hour in the early morning when wildlife is most active. Before the heat of the day, many animals can be seen stretching, eating, and playing in the cooler morning temps. And be sure to download The Living Desert’s free, interactive app and audio tour to enhance your visit.
Memberships support The Living Desert’s mission of desert conversation through preservation, education and appreciation. Summer member benefits include the following:
- FREE daytime admission for June, July, August & September
- Purchase Guest Passes at a discounted rate
- 7 a.m. Member ONLY early park entry
- 10% discount at the Gift Shop, Coyote Café and Thorntree Grill; and coming soon, the new Safari Soft-Serve ice cream shop
- Discounts on programs and classes

Coinciding with the summer hours, The Living Desert’s nature preserve hiking trails and carousel will be closed and will reopen October 1.
