Palm Desert, CA – The Coachella Valley Youth Hockey Foundation (CVYHF) has announced a new president of the organization. Davis Meyer will take the reins as founder and former president Katie Evans relocates out of state.

“I could not pick a better person to lead this organization,” said Evans. “Davis is an involved community member, impressive professional, and enthusiastic hockey mom. As hockey returns to the Valley, she is the perfect person to lead the foundation.”

Coachella Valley Youth Hockey Foundation is a non-profit organization wholly dedicated to providing financial support to the youth hockey players and their families in the Coachella Valley in order to allow greater access to the sport of hockey and expanded opportunities for player growth and development.

“I am eager to lead this organization into a new era of hockey in the Coachella Valley,” Meyer said. “There will be so much opportunity for kids in the coming years and I want to ensure that we can help as many players as possible.”

The remaining members of the CVYHF Board will remain the same with Carolyn Martino as Vice President, Susan Lienau as Treasurer, and Olivia Avent as Secretary.
