We’re Looking Forward to a Year of New Beginnings

Every year, I look back and say, “where did the year go?” This one had to be one of the fastest years yet! At ACV, we have always strived to move forward. We have zoomed through the pandemic, found funds and volunteers to facilitate our boldest expansion to date and we are showing no signs of slowing down!
2022 is going to be a year full of wonderful new programs and services provided by ACV for residents in the Coachella Valley. In January, our new Dinner Club program will begin. With help from the National Charity League Coachella Valley Chapter to host this program, we will offer dinner, social interaction, support for caregivers and, for the first time, a special support group for loved ones struggling with dementia.
We are also pleased to announce the launch of the Alzheimers Coachella Valley Screening Center. The center will offer screenings for individuals with cognitive issues and provide resources to help them and family members be proactive in procuring the proper care and initiating plans for their future journey.
So, in the midst of new programs and services, our existing programs are running full steam ahead into 2022! ACV has become a valuable Coachella Valley resource with hundreds of people attending our free music programs, social programs, educational programs, support groups and CEU Dementia Caregiver Courses. All programs and services will continue to be offered at no charge.
A special thank you is extended to all our generous supporters and friends of ACV. Our volunteers and our community have truly blessed ACV. Cheers! Here’s to another year of growth, fun, support, love, and new, exciting adventures!
