The 18th annual Bishop’s Golf Classic will take place on December 5, 2019 at the PGA West golf course in La Quinta, CA. Proceeds from the tournament support the tuition assistance efforts of the Catholic Education Foundation and the 30 individual schools in the Diocese of San Bernardino.
Over 240 golfers participated in the 2018 event, which netted over $385,000. A key feature of this tournament is the awarding of a new Ford Mustang to a raffle ticket holder. The Mustang is generously provided by Redlands Ford.
Catholic schools in the diocese of San Bernardino provide over $4,000,000 in tuition assistance each year and over half of students attending Catholic schools in this diocese are from families considered low- to moderate-income by federal standards.
Golfers will play at PGA West on either the Stadium course or the Nicklaus course and enjoy a sumptuous banquet dinner at the PGA West private clubhouse. A foursome sells for $2,000 and tend to sell out quickly.
