Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to Host National Day of Prayer Event with Community Leaders

 – The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission invites the community to a National Day of Prayer gathering on Thursday, May 7 at CVRM campus.  The event will feature a full breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by prayer and worship at 8:30 a.m. It is free and open to the public.

Local pastors and faith leaders will lead prayers for our nation, community, government, churches, families, and those in need.

“At CVRM, we believe in the power of prayer to transform lives, bring hope, and strengthen our community,” said  Executive Director Amanda Galindo. “This National Day of Prayer is a time for us to come together and lift up those who are struggling in our city and across our nation.” The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance established by Congress in 1952, encouraging Americans to unite in prayer for the country. This year’s theme, “Pour out to the God of hope and be filled,” serves as a reminder of our shared faith and purpose.

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission,  47470 Van Buren St. Indio, has served the community for 55 years, providing shelter, meals, recovery programs, and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. Through faith-based initiatives, the mission works to restore lives and bring hope to those in need.
