Invite a friend! Make a reservation! Dine at a participating restaurant and make that meal matter – END HIV and support the services of DAP Health.
Tomorrow, Thursday, April 28, Dining Out For Life (DOFL) takes place all day at over 60+ generous restaurants, bars, and bakeries throughout greater Palm Springs. For 17 years, this event has helped fund DAP Health as it works to reduce HIV stigma and provide access to HIV care, prevention, and testing. Participating businesses donate all or part of their gross sales from the day. All funds raised stay in Greater Palm Springs to provide help and hope to people living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS and support the health care services provided by DAP Health.

Did you know, 53% of the Coachella Valley has not been tested for HIV?
Comprehensive health care access remains uneven. It’s estimated that 46% of our community lives below the federal poverty level. In communities of color, communities living in poverty, and in the LGBTQIA+ community, DAP Health is removing barriers to care to build a healthier tomorrow. By participating in DOFL tomorrow, you will help more than 10,000 patients DAP Health currently services, but also, you will help raise funds for the 25,000 patients we anticipate will need health care services by 2025.
Call your friends and family, reserve your table at participating restaurants and make this meal matter. Support our community members that don’t have access to comprehensive health care and people living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS.
Do you love the inside scoop on local dining establishments? With over 60+ locally owned businesses participating in Dining Out For Life tomorrow, The Palm Springs Show has created a four-part series focused on the food and fun of this annual event. |
