Inaugural Coachella Valley Festival of Local Creatives set for March 26

The Indio Rotary Club and Coachella Valley Art Center invite local artists to participate in the inaugural Coachella Valley Festival of Local Creatives, Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lawn of Miles and Smurr streets, Indio.

This family-friendly event is free of charge and includes food and beverage, a beer garden, and performances by local musicians including the Desert Crows.

The festival is an opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell their work. Artists of all disciplines are invited to participate.

“The art show is intended for any and all Coachella Valley artists, some of who may be just starting out and/or haven’t had an opportunity for their art to be seen,” said Sue Steding, president, Indio Rotary Club.
