Parkinson’s Resource Organization held it’s Mitch’s Pitches PRO event at Mitch’s on El Paseo to an over-sold crowd. The evening started with a specialty “travel” silent auction. Nearly every item in the Silent Auction was a trip. From a trip to the Country Music Awards, to culinary stays at the Vineyards in Northern California to romantic trips to Italy and Paris and even Running with the Bulls in Spain.

Welcomed by Mitch Epstein of Mitch’s on El Paseo who related his personal story of how Parkinson’s has affected his family, Emceed by Janet Zappala of KMIR TV who in her “Your Health Matters” reports has covered Parkinson’s numerous times.

Parkinson’s Resource Organization is a non-profit 501(C)(3) Charity that provides emotional and educational support to families affected by Parkinson’s, “Working so no one is isolated because of Parkinson’s”. It holds support group meetings throughout Southern California, publishes a monthly newsletter, provides one-on-one coaching, has an interactive website and is unique in having, on its website ParkinsonsResource.org a virtual, vetted, video-driven Resource Directory called the Wellness Village.
