Pets are a tremendous source of comfort every day, but particularly when times are tough. The Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter Pet Food Bank is now available to furloughed federal government employees who are pet guardians in need of support.
The Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter Pet Food Bank will give Federal employees the pet food supplies they need so they can use their resources to cover other household necessities. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves or their beloved pet, or worse, surrender their beloved family member because they cannot afford pet food.
Furloughed government employees can visit our Pet Food Bank at 425 North Civic Drive in Palm Springs from Noon to 3 PM this Saturday, Jan 26 to pick up dog and/or cat food.
If you have an urgent need, or have another type of pet in need of food, please contact Anthony Ercolani at 760-832-6231 x102 or email aercolani@psanimalshelter.org to arrange for an earlier or special pick-up.
