8th Annual Rae of Hope Retreat: The Bianca Rae Foundation held its 8th Annual Rae of Hope Retreat in collaboration with the Desert Sands Unified Exoanded Learning Opportunity Program. A special thank you to G&M Oil Company, the main presenting sponsor and our biggest supporter from day one. Three Thousand children have attended these annual retreat so far. On October 1st, we had 450 middle school children signed up – this was a one day leadership retreat where kids rotate through breakout groups learning about self-esteem building, anti-bullying, and other social and emotional life skills. It was held at the Renaissance Indian wells. The next retreat is March 18, 2023, mark your calendars!!
Gardens to the Rescue: on Sunday, October 2nd, the Bianca Rae Foundation held its annual adoption event called Gardens to the Rescue presented by G&M Oil Company – at the Gardens on El Paseo. Animal shelters and rescues from all over the Coachella Valley came together to bring adoptable dogs to the gardens . There were vendors, and live music sung by student bands from Academy of Musical Performance. It was a special day full of adoptions and animal rescue awareness!!
