Sign-ups are now being accepted for November dates
Green Room Theatre Company Coachella Valley (GRTCCV), now in its 16th successful season, will hold auditions for two dynamic productions scheduled for the 2024/2025 season. Auditions will be held on Friday, November 15 from 4 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be callbacks on Sunday, November 17. Actor’s Equity and non-union roles have competitive pay and highly inclusive casts.
The scheduled productions for the season are:
“Black Butterfly, Jaguar Girl, Pinata Woman and Other Superhero Girls Like Me by Luis Alfaro”

The cast of characters are five teen-looking Latina actresses to play roles of 13-to-18-year-old girls. This bilingual touring production presents a combination of sometimes heartbreaking, often amusing stories, poems, and scenes from the lives of five girls growing up in East Los Angeles.
“As You Like It In One Hour/Como Te Gusta En Una Hora, adapted from Shakespeare by GRTCCV’s Artistic Director David Catanzarite”

A rapid-fire staged reading of the Bard’s greatest gender-bending comedy in contemporary English, Spanish, and Shakespeare’s original language. Roles can be played by male-presenting or female-presenting actors.
